Toe River Arts is proud to present Partly Yellow, an exhibition of drawings and paper-cut sculptures by Lori Brook Johnson. A West Virginia born artist based in Western North Carolina, Lori explores the generational impact of exploitative labor in Appalachia, juxtaposing these regional hardships with themes of care, selfhood, and healing. View her emotive and deeply personal works in the Owen gallery from July 3-August 2, 2026.
